Dec. 11, 1953 CWC candidate; Charles W. Young; Policeman Young joined the local force in March 1951 after operating a dry cleaning business in Phillip for five years. Prior to his military service he worked in Kadoka retail stores. He is a graduate of Kadoka High School. As a Phillip businessman, he was active in the Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis, and veteran activities. He has assisted since being here with the Red Cross membership drive and the United Charities Drive. Currently the candidate operates a woodworking shop in Provo during his off duty hours.
