Obituary



HERMISTON - Delores Elaine Beehler died Thursday, Sept. 13, at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston at the age of 74.

She was born June 14, 1933 at Sturgis, S.D., to Roy and Ruth (Castill) Hardy. Delores was raised in Sturgis and also lived in Rapid City, S.D. Her husband, Everett worked at the Army Depot at Igloo, S.D., and then they moved to Hermiston and Everett worked at the Umatilla Army Depot. Delores worked at Moore & Ripley Drug Store and later she worked at Frasu's as a waitress and bookkeeper. She enjoyed watching baseball and loved taking care of her family.

She is survived by her son, Randy Beehler of Hermiston; daughter, Elaine Beehler of Bend; brother, LeRoy Hardy of Sturgis, S.D.; two grandsons, Kelly Beehler of La Grande, and Caleb Beehler of Hermiston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Eugene Beehler in 1999; and a son, Roy Beehler in 1973. A memorial service will held on Thursday, Sept. 20, at 1 p.m. at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston. Inurnment of Cremains will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hermiston Little League Baseball. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in charge of the arrangements.
