| This big-eyed monster is actually the business end of the 20 by 4 foot kiln used to destroy the cyanogen chloride liquid by burning at 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit. The circular windows permit operators to keep constant check on burning process. The window at right shows ignition of the highly flammable liquid as it is sprayed into the kiln. |
