THE CLASS OF 1947

This is the fourth graduating class from Provo High School and the first class to have the opportunity to be at Provo High School for four years.

Shirley Gunderson married classmate Jim Ritter and passed away in 2004.
Martin Hanna married Virginia DeWitt of the class of 54 and passed away in 2014.
Wayne Hanna passed away in 1996.
Marion Hardman married Dan Hills, who worked at BHOD and lives in Marina, CA.
Jerry Hoppes married Beth Culver of the class of 46 and lives in Scottsbluff, NE.
Robert Luke passed away in 1969.
LaVonne Nelson currently lives in Mount Carroll, IL.
Onral O'Banion married Don King from BHOD and currently lives in Anchorage, AK.
Peter Parmenter married Mary Birdsall of the class of 48 and passed away Jan. 28, 2015. (Mary passed away in 2011)
James Ritter married classmate Shirley Gunderson and passed away Dec. 23, 2015. (Shirley passed away in 2004)
Mary Seber married Eugene Matteson of the class of 45 and passed away in 2006.
