Operation of the four pump service station concession at Black Hills Ordnance Depot is open for bids according to an announcement made today by Black Hills Ordnance Depot's Commanding Officer Col. John R. Bailey, Jr.
Bids will be accepted at the Black Hills Ordnance Depot Post Restaurant until 2:00 PM Mountain Standard time, Aug. 25, 1961.
The concession serves the Black Hills Ordnance Depot community, with a population of approximately 1500, situated 8 miles south-east of Edgemont.
95% of the population represents BHOD personnel and dependents with the remainder comprising concessionaires, their employees, and members of the Provo School faculty.
Inspection of the concession may be made daily, from 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Complete information, with forms and arrangements for inspection may be made through Mr. Russell J. Bohart, Post Restaurant Officer, Black Hills Ordnance Depot, Igloo, So. Dak. Telephone extension 42 and 43.
