My many thanks to those in Payroll for the very nice farewell gift. It has been a pleasure to have worked with each one of you. There will be plenty of fried chicken, butter and cream for your 4th of July dinner, so drop in at our farm that day.
Goodbye, good luck and the best of everything to each and every one of you.

On Wednesday, February 20th, a pre-Lenten card party was held in Room 12 of the Community Building under the auspices of the Altar Society of the local Catholic Congregation. Norwegian whist was the game. Mrs. Frank Brown and Mr. James Curtin were the winners of the ladies' and men's high high scores respectively. Mrs. William G. Thomas was the chairman of the hostess committee. Refreshments were served after the game and a good time was enjoyed by all.
Mrs. B. F. Geary was hostess Wednesday evening, February 20th, to a mid-winter party honoring Mrs. Judy Krumvieda of Rapid City. Pinochle was played at three tables with the high prize being won by Mrs. Strouse, second prize by Mrs. Krumvieda and prize for low game going to Mrs. Hanna. At the close of a delightful evening of entertainment and sociability, the hostess served delicious refreshments.
