Wednesday afternoon, February 18, Mrs. Ray Aye was hostess to the Grandmother's Club, honoring the birthdays of two of the members, Mrs. E. W. Ladwig and Mrs. John Smith. It was also the fifth anniversary of the club, with the membership consisting of the eight charter members, Mesdames E. W. Ladwig, John Smith, Ed Farringer, Ray Aye, Louis Ritter, Algie Brookens, George Beaman and Orlin McCroskey. The afternoon was spent reminiscing about the past five years and discussing the grandchildren, after which a very delicious lunch, including a birthday cake, was served. The two honored guests were each presented with a gift.
